Keg at the St Albans Beer festival 2018. A light hazed golden yellow coloured pour with a a lively rocky white head. Aroma is semi sweet apple, earthy pale grains, wheat,. Flavour is composed of soft pale cereal, apple, light melon. Palate is lively, soft carbonation, little wheat. Ok. Lingering banana note.

Another solid german wheat beer. Always with such full body and flavour. Clean and perfectly brewed. Craft beer store dresden. (Sept 2018 rated 3.7) After more experience with the style I’d knock it down to 3.6

Pours dark brown, unclear, but far from black. Medium, creamy, very stable white head. Smell is weird , DMS, but different than what you’re used to in the DMS scent. more… ‘plastic’ in a way. usually, I use ‘plastic’ to name what others call ‘bandaid’ , being overly phenolic. Such is not the case here. papaya-like fruityness that I don’t like, and have no clue about how it got here. Dirt ( like, actual muddy, ground-like scent ) Taste is also pretty weird. For some reason, this has a minthy aspect.. HOW ? WHY ? Underneath some fine roastyness, but also a mout-puckering sweetness that dries the mouth. I’d even say its like esters.. Is this fermentated to warm ? Was the scent I had phenolic after all ? There’s a whole lot of flavors I wouldn’t expect from the style, the country, or after reading the list of ingrediënts. And I would have strongly prefered not having them, tbh. Pretty bad beer to me, this one.

Pours very cloudy, almost like a NEIPA. Def more haze than the ‘regular’ keller. Medium to medium small white, creamy head. Smell is fresh, crisp, bit zesty, citrussy. Taste is sharp, bitter, very crisp, citrussy. very refreshing. mild estery notes though, which i’m not that big of a fan of in lagers. Still, quite nice though.

Pours unclear blonde, tall white head that is more-than-avarage in stability. Smell is strong on the banana, milder in cloves. traditional weisse scent. Some wheat, creamy. Taste is full, bit bitter, creamy, banana, some cloves, bit 'plastic' mouthfeel but not overly much. OK weisse. nothing bad to it at all, but misses that extra touch of 'heaven's sparkle' that sets the best appart from the average.

33cl can from Waitrose, Wokingham. An amber pour with a thick cream head; malty aroma; creamy in the mouth with a malty body, some caramel and a light dry biscuity finish with a hint of spice. I seem to have missed the hops.
