Flasche (50 cl) vom Edeka am Prager Platz, Berlin-Wilmersdorf. - Orangegelb, leicht trüb. - In der Nase etwas mattes, breit süßes Karamelmalz mit bocktypischer Schwere (Alkohol kann man doch riechen!) und schwacher Trockenaprikose. - Antrunk breit hellmalzig mit Karamel, Sahnebonbons, mildem Honig, getrockneten Aprikosen und gut integrierter, nicht zu knapper Kräutertee-artiger Herbe. Mild rezent, breit vollmundig; spürbare aber nicht störende alkoholische Schwere. Im Abgang schöne Balance von Honig und milder Herbe. - Schön austarierter, komplexer aber süffiger heller Bock, nicht so knackig gehopft wie die besten fränkischen Vertreter seines Typs aber sehr schmackhaft.

Flasche (Brr Grr, 50 cl) vom Edeka am Prager Platz, Berlin-Wilmersdorf. - Schönes Goldbraun, klar (unfiltriert?), untypisch üppiger Schaum. - Appetitliche Nase mit herb toastigem Malz und schönem englischen Hopfen: Trockenaprikose, leichte tropische Frucht, dezenter Nadelwald. - Antrunk würzig karamelmalzig mit Toast und schöner Herbe von Pale-Ale-Hopfen. Die gerstige Malzigkeit läßt eher an ein Untergäriges denken, die obergärigen Fruchtnoten sind erfreulich dezent. Mild rezent, schlank. Aromatisch hopfenherber Abgang. - Sauberes, süffiges Pale Ale aus Bayern, dem man doch die Herkunft aus dem Land der untergärigen Lagerbiere anschmeckt. Aber warum soll man dazu Burger essen? Gibt’s in Bayern nicht viel Besseres?

Can. Mostly plain white. As ’Unfiltered Lager’ 5.0%. Hazy paleish gold beer, tidy white head. Palate is smooth and has reasonable fine carbonation. Soft malts, quite sweet. Sweetish floralness. Very light floral citrus. Trace of soft pine on the soft finish. A bit sweet but not too bad.

Off white minimal head left a cover on a murky dark orange coloured, well carbonated body. Yeast & a strange metallic aroma. Medium to thin bodied. Soft on the palate. Creamy. Not much to it. Bitter fruits, sweet citrus, malt & a pine finish. Refreshing but just average

Appearance is golden, a little bit hazy, a solid 1-finger white head. Aroma- honey hints, wheat, malty bread, fruity hop hints, sweet malt tones. Taste- sweet malt, soft fruity hops, wheat, traces of banana, hop bitterness on the finish but it’s mostly sweet, quite a full and satisfying mouthfeel.
