Can from LCB. Pours a near black with a nicely formed beige to tanned head. Aroma of chocolate, lactose, a touch of roasted malt and some dustiness. Sweet chocolate in taste with lactose and a light bitter coffee and roast. Creamy mouthfeel, and modest carbonation. Decent but it might be better on cask reading the below reviews.

Handpull cask at the Blue Boar, Leicester. Mid- to dark brown and a bit translucent with a spotty beige/khaki head. Creamy chocolate notes, a little bit of caramel. Sweet taste, bit hit of lactose, and I'm getting more of the salted caramel now. Surprisingly bitter in the finish. Medium body, not carbonated at all. Pretty good and grows on me.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 14th March 2024. Slightly hazy amber with shallow, loose foam affording full lacing. Hoppy aroma with some earthy pungencies. Light citrus in-mouth and a hoppy finish with caramel malt. Light bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.

Cask at Curious Gnome, Chester. Pours a very dark reddish-brown with a small foamy tan head. There’s peanuts and toffee in the aroma. Peanuts again in the mouth, where it is slightly sweet with a creamy texture. There’s also caramel, fudge and salt in the flavour and hints of roasted malts and a little smokiness later on. Finish is nutty and slightly bitter. It’s OK, but a bit strange.

Can thanks to Ashton McCobb. Pours clear dark brown with a thick beige head. Aromas of milk chocolate, cocoa powder. Taste is honeycomb and more milky chocolate. Like a cold hot chocolate! I guess that's a milkshake...

Can from Low Cost Beer. Appearance - opaque black with the tiniest red chink at the bottom of the glass. Foamy, off white head. Nose - toffee, honeycomb and milk chocolate. Taste - dark chocolate, going into molasses and burnt toffee. Palate - medium bodied, dry roasty finish. Overall - drier than I expected, given the adjuncts. Enjoyed this.
