24/2/2023. Keg at the Three Wise Monkeys (Colchester) Winter Beer Festival. Pours close to black with a small beige head. Aroma of chocolate, salted caramel, light roasted malt, lactose. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, quite creamy, soft carbonation. Nicely done.

Keg @ Beatnikz Republic Bar, Manchester. Hazy golden with a small to thin head. Sweet tropical fruity pineapple in aroma and taste, with a mildly sticky-sweet texture.

Cask at Cavern of the Curious Gnome, Chester. Pours almost black with a small tan head. There’s vanilla and some traces of malts in the aroma. In the mouth it is smooth with a creamy texture. Roast malts and liquorice dominate the flavour plus some lactose and hints of lime. Chocolate comes through eventually as well. Finish is slightly dry and bitter. This is very nice.
