Description
We use the finest quality ingredients, superior brewery methods and state-of-the-art equipment to produce our ales. Our ethos is to offer the finest ales, produced with passion and to the highest standards. We produce 6 core real ales, alongside unique and varied monthly seasonals, and a range of craft keg beers.

Reported closed in 2024, with some beers being brewed at Magpie.

Cask at the Guildford arms. Pours black, nose is burnt chocolate, charcoal, toffee, taste is sweet, chocolate, bitter, liquorice.

Cask @ The Baum, Rochdale. Golden-blonde with a frothy head. Dry in the palate and lingering, it’s a slightly malty pale ale.

Cask @ Calans, Hebden Bridge. Golden pale ale with a small head. Dry and very light with its fruitiness. Mildly malty in its nose.

Cask. Gravity dispense. Barrow Hill jamboree. Clear, amber colour. Bubbly, beige head. Nose has soft, light roast malts. Nuts. Dark fruit. Taste is light sweet, and sugary. Thin mouthfeel. Malty sweet finish.

Tap. Barrow Hill jamboree. Clear gold. Nose has peach and melon. Some lemony, citrus peel. Taste sets off chewy sweet, turning moderately bitter. Light bodied. Sweetness on the finish with minimal bitterness.

Cask at the Rail Ale Festival Chesterfield, 2016. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is creamy yeast, citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter with a crisp citrus refreshing woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Cask at the Rail Ale Festival Chesterfield, 2016. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is sweet malt, light hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a yeastie light fruit, light hop palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
