Description
We use the finest quality ingredients, superior brewery methods and state-of-the-art equipment to produce our ales. Our ethos is to offer the finest ales, produced with passion and to the highest standards. We produce 6 core real ales, alongside unique and varied monthly seasonals, and a range of craft keg beers.

Reported closed in 2024, with some beers being brewed at Magpie.

[ As Navigation Charles Henry Strange IPA ].Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, fruity, pale malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity malt, fruity hops, pale malt, hoppy. Cask (Bookshop Alehouse, Southampton) - Golden in colour. Citrus and some earthy notes in the aroma. Tea, lemon and grapefruit all feature in the fairly dry taste.

[ As Navigation Golden Anchor ].Clear medium orange colour with a small average, frothy, good - fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, fruity. Cask half-pint at The Crown Inn, Oakengates during their 42nd Beer Festival, 28th Apr 2017. Amber, deep amber colour, beige topping. Malty nose and taste, light caramel notes and semi-sweet flavour wise, hops arrive late to the party but give a decent dry finish.

Cask @ Castle Hotel, Manchester. Extremely dark red with an off-white head. Itโ€™s a light stout with light roasted malts, but pleasant with a decent nose.

Cask at the Post Office Vaults, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a thin white head. The aroma is yeast, light citrus grassy hop. The flavour is light bitter light sweet with a smooth light creamy yeast, citrus fruit, light spice palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation.
