Description
The brewery is still a small family run operation and currently employs over 20 people. The business was set up by Shane and Alison Parr, with lots of help from Iain and Anne Reid (Alison’s parents) and Innes Reid (Alison’s brother), but we survive and thrive on the great crew we have working with us.
Our brewing plant capacity has been upgraded over the years and now is now 100 brewer’s barrels (28,800 pints) per week, which allows us to meet demand during peak periods. In 2013 we constructed a purpose built, energy efficient brew house, and we’re always looking for ways to improve our environmental impact by saving water and energy.

500ml bottle. Pours slightly hazy gold with a small head. Aroma is grassy with a little citrus. Taste is citrus to start with a grassy gassy finish. A little banana on the aftertaste.

Cask @ Old Harker Arms, Chester. Golden with a thick creamy head. It’s mild tasting with a floral aroma and taste but a higher sweetness in its nose.

Cask @ Coach & Horses, Shrewsbury. Has a light sweetness with a faint fruity bitterness. A pleasant, if rather unremarkable, bitter. Will attempt to re-rate from a bottle.

Cask @ Shrewsbury Beer Festival. Nice and tasty vanilla sweet wheat, a little silkier than the grainy wheats but lovely stuff nonetheless. A nice mid-fest beer.
