[Cask at the Bootlegger, High Wycombe] Amber with a moderate white head. Fruity at first with a light floral finish and a dusty bitterness. Another adequate but dull monthly "special" from Rebellion. What are they rebelling against, anyway? Interesting beers, perhaps?

(Cask at Market Porter, London Bridge, London, 20 May 2011) Reddish amber colour with frothy, beige head. Fruity, malty nose with citrus and apricots. Fruity, malty taste with notes of caramel, orange and citrussy hops in the finish. Medium body, with balanced sweetness. Nice one.

Gravity cask at the Bree Louise. Clear gold with a slight foam. Doughy malts on the nose, some straw, orange citrus and honey. Nice flavor, pretty well balanced, doughy malts, slight corn and butter, cereal, straw, some bitterness of citrus. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Good condition. Crispy malts on the finish, along with light grass and citrus and subtle earth. Good beer.

[Cask at the Bootlegger, High Wycombe] Amber, slight white head. A little fruit followed by an earthy bitterness. There’s nothing bad about it, but nothing interesting either. Rebellion once again prove they’re very good at making very average bitters that leave you wondering whether they’re simply a rebrand of a previous one of their monthly specials...

Gravity cask at the Bree Louise. Clear, dark gold with no head. Ripe fruits on the nose, sugary malts. Sweet flavor, sweet bread, more fruits, soft bitters. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Somewhat sticky finish, malty, sweet, soft grass notes. Alright beer.

Gravity cask at the Bree Louise. Clear gold with a slight, filmy head. Aroma is full of fresh hops, floral and piney. Great flavor, light caramel, plenty of pine, some grapefruit and grass. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sticky hop finish, resinous, grassy, easy malt backbone. Superb.

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Amber in colour with a thin cream head; floral aroma; biscuity malt flavour with some orange fruit; dry and assertively bitter finish. Pleasant enough, but not very memorable.
