Bottle 50 cl. Pours a dark, cloudy amber with an off-white head. Roasty, nutty nose. Medium body, same roast, a little chocolate and again some phenols that have all the markings of home brewing without temperature control. I may be wrong, but these Hyldal beers have so mant fermentation flaws. This is one of the least horrid ones though. 160620

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an opaque, murky orangey amber with no head. Aroma is somewhere between chocolate powder and rotten vase water. Medium body, somewhat sweet maltiness, an odd and very unclean fruitiness and some phenols most likely from lack of temperature control. Slight tartness. Apparently - according to the brewer - the bitterness should be borderline extreme. Clearly that must be meant as a joke. I have no idea what this is. 160620

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque golden with a fizzy, white head that disappears in no time. Nose is sweet, overripe fruit with a hint of elderflower. Body is medium, sweet maltiness with the elderflower getting a little more pronounced. Quite fizzy. Apart from some subtle phenols, I don't really sense the underlying Hefeweizen as the base beer. But it's drinkable though. 160620
