Cask/GD at the 14th Egham Beer Festival at the EUSC, 28/03/13. Clear pale golden with not a lot in the way of a head. Nose carries pale malts, light hops, sugars, citrus notes. Taste comprises, summer fruits, sugars, hops. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, light bitterness in the finish. OK.

Cask at Pigs Ear BF 2012, London. Pours clear, rich brown with a moderate, beige foam head. Dark, toasty bread nose. Medium sweet flavor with surprisingly strong coffee character, light earthy bitterness. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Moderately toasty finish with more coffee and toasted sugars. Good stuff.

Cask at Egham United Services Club Summer Beer Festival 2012. A black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Sweet, roasty, chocolate aroma. Tastes sweet, dark fruit, some chocolate and a definite hint of honey in there. Smooth and easy drinking porter. Delicious.

Gravity Dispense at Pig’s Ear BF, London - 05/12/12. Very dark mahogony brown, approaching black, with a thin tan head that clings to the edge of the glass and forms a film atop. Nose is roast malt, dark toffee, light chocolate, touch of spice. Taste comprises light coffee, dark roast malts, touch of chocolate, light spice. Medium body, soft carbonation, smooth on the palate. Decent porter!

Pigs Ear. Opaque dark brown beer, no real head. Palate is light and dry. Tangy dark malts, a little dried fruits. Finishes dry with a little coffee coming through. Decent.
