Description
Focussing on "the good side of life" is what Big Belly Brewing is all about. We love things a little bigger, going the extra mile, adding something special, being more creative. But above all, we love things in life that are a bit more fun.

All our beers are well balanced and made with premium "The Swean" malts, so we get the full, distinctive beers that we are proud of. After coming up with a special touch, we design a legendary character for every beer. Finally, we write and add an amusing story about the character and the beer. That's how we make one of the most fun things, drinking beer, even more fun.

33cl Blik, dank Thijs. Niet al te vers meer. Oranje kleur, witte kraag. Net limonade. Caramel, hars, citrus, redelijk oldskool IPA, licht metalig, beetje oude koekjes, bittere finish. Lichte body. Degelijk.

Black with minimal light brown head. Nice and complex aroma of dried fruit, wooden barrels, vanilla and cheese cake. Sweet with a warm dried fruit, vanilla and wooden barrels end. Like, full bodied. bb 09.2025, from Alko Rovaniemi FI 11.2021

Can. Almost black with dark beige head. Lots of sweet malt syrup, seaweed, umami notes almost like miso, light earthy, marzipan, chocolate, licorice, soft smoke. Quite sweet, medium bitter and umami. Full bodied. There's a lot of umami notes in here, but not much Islay whisky. Quite sweet and thick. Interesting.

Clear yellow appearance with thin head. It's a decent Pilsener. Lots of light malt sweetness. Could do with a touch more bitterness. Despite the Germanic sounding name this is very much in the Dutch flavour profile of a Pilsener.
