Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is chocolate, caramel, vanilla, coconut, taste is similar, dry, slightly nutty.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Black, rich beige head. Huge aroma of coffee and tonka. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Ashy coffee, caramel and tonka. Long bitter finish.

Dark brown with thin head. Aroma of coffee and almonds. Flavour has roasted coffee and dark chocolate. A bit light bodied but on the other side not overly cloying or sweet.

Almost opaque dark amber brown beer, a small and short lived paleish tan head. Nose is chocolate syrup and lesser maple syrup.. Palate is lighter than expected and mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Chocolate drenched malts. Dark chocolate but more chocolate syrup and specially.. licked off a chocolate ice cream cone!!! Hah! Some maple comes through the choccy assault. Yeah apple on the back end along with a touch of vanilla. I dunno about Mom's apple pie drizzled in maple syrup. More like someone took a Mr Kipling's apple and drowned it in a bucket of ice cream chocolate syrup. Maple was sent in to rescue it but also succumbed. Good fun, gets slightly cloying.
