Aus der Flasche (bbe 30.09.2025) im 2022-11 getrunken. Diese dunkelbraune Quadruple kommt mit einem Schokoladen-/Kokos Aroma daher. Der Körper wirkt viel zu leicht für ein solchen Schwergewicht und dadurch ist leider der Abgang fast zu leicht.

Bottle. Dark brown. Massive bourbon, vanilla, figs, booze, earthy, rye, raisins. Quite sweet. Over medium bodied. Does exactly what it says, boozy and bourbon.

0.33 l can from 'Het Biermoment', best before May 2024. Slightly hazy, reddish orange with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Slightly sweetish, gently fruity-grassy aroma of orange peel, vanilla and some lemon. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, quite fruity-grassy and a bit yeasty taste of orange, lemon, some vanilla, light clove and a touch of grains, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly yeasty and a bit dry finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Easy-drinking, quite refreshing, nice beer.

Aus der Flasche im 2022-11 getrunken. Dieses Stout kommt mit einer kräftigen Aroma von Dunkler Schokolade und Karamell daher. Aber es ist nicht süß, da die Röstbitterkeit recht deutlich aber immernoch gut balanciert ist. Der Fassausbau im Bourbon Fass wird durch typische Aromen deutlich. Kein schlechtes Stout - Prost!

Aus der Flasche (bbe 18.04.2025) im 2022-11 getrunken. Dieses Stout hat eine schöne Milchkaffee Aroma und ein wunderbares cremiges Mungefühl. Da es nur einfaches Stout mit leichten Körper ist, wirkt es recht einfach zu trinken. Lecker!

Aus der Flasche im 2023-04 getrunken. Dieses dunkelbraue Bier erinnert sehr an ein getreidig würziges, leicht süßes Barles Wine. Ein wunderbares Bier mit cremiger Struktur und perfekt eingebundenen Alkohol. Prost!

12th October 2022 Almost opaque dark brown beer, small bubbly tan head that doesn't persist for long. Palate is light and semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Smooth malts, a little creamy sweetness and mild dark chocolate, nothing like as much as you might expect from an Imperial Stout. A little chocolate syrup marries well with the coconut and the vanilla does make for a nice Red Velvet vibe. The back end finds some softly boozy ripe fruits, almost like it had some barrell aged treatment. Light finish brings it all together with the coconut coming to the fore. Very nice job. It's light and crisp and bloody quaffable and it delivers it's cake pastry vibe with aplomb.

Black, with a dense light brown head. Smells softly sweet, caramel, lovely ripe banana. Quite thin, but smooth enough, soft carbonation. Taste is surprisingly roasty, giving a firm bitterness. Sweet banana comes through, some light caramel, dry finish.

Can. Color: Very dark ruby. almost black. Mocha head. Aroma: Roasted malt, boozy Whiskey and Bourbon notes. Taste: Roasted malt, licorice notes, coffee hints. Sweetish and boozy Bourbon, vanilla, Whiskey. Subtle peaty. Very subtle floral and spicy pine needles. Over moderate sweet. Lightly sticky. Moderate bitterness. Full body, below average carbonation. Dry-ish finish. BA Stout with a subtle, nice twist from the pine needles.
