On tap at Pingvinen, Bergen. The colour is deep brown to black with a beige creamy medium head. Roasted aroma with dark chocolate, rye and coffee. The flavour is not far away with the addition of licorice. Has a oily and smooth mouth feel, and a light bitterness. A bit faint aroma but a solid and balanced porter.

On tap at Pingvinen, Bergen. The colour is golden deep mahogny with a small light beige head. Has a malty aroma with wood, dried fruit, nuts and some chocolate. A bit faint. Sweet flavour but balanced, and more pronounced with more dried fruit and some hops. Has a very smooth mouth feel, and a light bitterness. A very balanced and nice bock.

On tap @ Henrik. This is a deep dark ruby red one, big heavy lacing on the head that's has a light beige color. Sweet nose with both chocolate paper and trace of smoke and ham. Dark malty and something fudge like. Smells quite classic. Nice flavors as well. Sweet, yeah but not to sweet imo. Chocolate is most definitely here in the oily mouthfeel with a mild gentle prickling carbonation level. It's really really easy to drink this. Almost cloudy in a way. I'm really enjoying drinking this. 10.05.2013

Appearance: Black color with a tan head.
Aroma: Roasted malt, coffee and chocolate.
Palate: Medium (light) body. Slightly sweet and a fine bitterness. Average carbonation.

From bottle at Beer13. Pours black with a beige head. Aroma of chocolate, licorice and dark fruits with roasted malt. Moderate sweet with a nice and balanced bitterness. On tap @ Pingvinen, Bergen. Pours black, with a finger thick creamy mocha head. Aroma is of nice burned malts, coffee and dark fruits. Flavour is burned malts, chocolate and coffee, as well as dark fruits and molasses in a nice and long finish. Very potent, yet balanced for a porter. Good stuff.

On tap @ Henrik. This is a deep dark brown actually near black one and it has a light sidesticking dark beige head. It's lovely roasted with a ton of coffee on the nose. Some chocolate and chocolate paper also here. Smells really nice. It's soft on the carbonation with a slick light mouthfeel. Really packed with coffee in the taste also this! Actually its really packed with good flavors, such as soft roasted malts, medium bitter chocolate and again that coffee. It's so easy to drink that I'm almost a bit scared. Not the last I'm buying of this. 30.03.2013
