About
Established in 2011, Mumbles Brewery has dedicated itself to producing quality real ales with a local flavour. That ‘local flavour’ comes from the beautiful Swansea in Wales. Their beers are only available in pubs throughout South Wales and Bristol, that is one of many reasons we chose them to be included in our boxes. We wanted you to be able to enjoy these excellent beers no matter where you are in the country. The Brewery started making real ale in 2013 in the Pilot Inn, Mumbles. A range of unique ales are brewed with local flavour.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol March 2023. Golden in colour with a slight, off-white, head. A touch of floral hop, stone fruits, rich tea biscuity malts, leading to a dryish finish. Good.

Many thanks to Taboada for this one, gravicask shared with Finn at GBBF Winter '23. Black in the glass, dotted spots on glassware, beige bubbly head. Smoothly roasted malty aromas, cocoa scent. Mixed taste of oatmeal, cocoa, and dark bread. Drying close, dark malt-driven. Pleasing. (Burton upon Trent 16.02.2023).

Cask, third pint. @GBBF Winter, Burton-On-Trent (UK). 16/02/2023 [#5.839 Global - #29 Wales - #1 Mumbles Brewery (My Welsh Brewery #14)] Pours black with a lacing tan head. Aroma: roasted malts and smokey coffee. Taste: watery coffee and liquorice. Mild watery mouthfeel. Next one please!

Delt med Rune på GBBF Winter i Burton-Upon-Trent. Svart. Mokkafarget skumring. Aroma av salt lakris. Smaken litt tørr. Sjokolade. Myk, forsiktig bitter avslutning. Annerledes - men bra.
