Panda courtesy of Theydon_Bois, cheers Colin! Golden colour, afew short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of apple, phenolic hint, with solventy funk. Taste is apple, fruity, oak, woody, some tartness, with solvent funky notes and drying tannin. Medium bodied, low carbonation, drying woody oaky funky tannic finish. Quite drinkable.

Sample thanks to Grumbo. Clear gold. Aroma is quite rich, golden, tannic, some varnish. Taste is quite sharp, rich, tart, varnish, moderate sour funk, oily palate. Good once your palate becomes accustomed to it.

25/4/2020. Bottle from Darts Farm near Topsham, Devon. Pours almost clear golden with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is funky, moderately sweet apples, touch of citrus and barnyard. Moderate sweetness and slight tartness. Moderate body, light sparkling carbonation. Dry, tannic finish. Quite drinkable.

BIAB sample from Chappel Fest courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Golden colour, no head and aroma of barnyard funky apple. Taste is sweetish, mellow, tart fruity, apple, with solventy funk and drying, citric. Medium bodied, low carbonation, medium-dry finish. Quite drinkable.

6/9/2019. From bag in a box at the 33rd Chappel Beer Festival. Pours slightly hazy pale gold with minimal head. Aroma of medium sweet apples, funky barnyard, light sulphur, caramel and citrus. Medium sweetness and moderate sour. Moderate body, sticky texture, soft carbonation. Nice.
