Cask @ The Royal Oak, Shrewsbury. Pours a largely clear gold. Aroma is herbal, grassy. Taste is herbal, weedy, bitter and generally pretty awful. Either it's on its way out or it's a serious brewing fault. Couldn't manage more than two sips.

Aroma is moderate malty, fruity malt, pale malt, fruity, light to moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, fruity malt, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity. Gravity cask from the Little R’Ale House, Wellingborough. Amber/brown, very flat. Some ripe berries, forest floor notes, caramel malt aroma. Taste is more bitter than I expected, which creates a nice balance. Taste profile is fairly uniform. Throughout the sip and ends on a long finish. Redcurrant in the aftertaste with lots of earthy hop. It’s not bad but very basic.
