[50cl bottle,a Christmas offering from my brother.] A bright copper coloured pour with a loose white head; aroma of grapefruit and pine resin; fruity taste, with grapefruit and a hint of pineapple; and a biscuity malt body. A pleasant IPA style beer - hardly a red ale as described though.

[50cl bottle.] A gushing pour; after half and hour I had almost a full glass of dishwater brown liquid with a peaky cream coloured head, and a rather yeasty aroma; after all this effort the sweet malt taste, coupled with more yeast, was a bit of a disappointment. My brother said he had had a similar experience with a bottle of the same a few weeks previously. I suggest a bit more care with the bottle conditioning would improve this immeasurably.
