Pours a very slightly hazy deep straw colour, with a small, frothy white head, and a faintly fruity aroma, with hints of biscuit malt going on. The taste is a subtle blend of zesty fruit and peppery hops, offering a really refreshing beer with a lip-smacking quality, some dry bitterness lingering into the finish

Cask at Oxbrew, Witney. Lightly hazed reddish-amber beer with a thin white head. Warm malty brown bread, a little caramel and some marmalade. A bit watery and not much bitterness, but pleasant enough.

Third, gravicask, at the 22nd Oxford Beer & Cider Festival. Shared with Finn. close to clear dark golden body, naked surface, dotted spots on the glassware. Leafy hops on the nose, hints of caramel sweetness. Caramel fruity flavours added by a piney twist towards a dry finish. Satisfying. (25.10.2019).

[50cl bottle] A glossy black pour with a ruby red gleam and a thick cream coloured head; aroma of well roasted malt; rather thin with coffee flavours and a little berry fruit; then lacking in finish.
