A passion for great beer and a wish to share our craft locally is what brought our small team together. We created Little Ox with a vision to make craft beers that have a broad appeal with a twist from the traditional and challenge our drinkers to try new tastes.

Keg at Thirsty Meeples, Oxford, 20/04/22. Almost clear golden orange with a lasting egg shell white cap. Nose is orange pith, ripe melon, grass, pine needle, papaya. Taste comprises orange zest, grass, soft malts, pine dusting, ripe melon, pineapple. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy hop bitterness. Decent session gear.

On tap at Thirsty Meeples. Pours a hazy orange gold with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is a bit dull of floral and citrus. Medium body, grass, piney, grapefruit, light bitterness, good.

Keg at Thirsty Meeples, Oxford, 20/04/22. Light black with a decent tan covering. Nose is chocolate, dark malts, nutty, vanilla, mellow roast. Taste comprises dark malts, vanilla, cocoa powder, raisins, dried fruit esters. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Tidy enough stout.

Cask at the White Rabbit, Oxford, 20/04/22. Reddish amber with a good sized light beige cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is biscuit malt, caramel, orange peel, light spice. Taste comprises biscuit malt, blood orange, herb, malty bite, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with dusty hop bitterness. Fine.
