A passion for great beer and a wish to share our craft locally is what brought our small team together. We created Little Ox with a vision to make craft beers that have a broad appeal with a twist from the traditional and challenge our drinkers to try new tastes.

440ml can. Poured a clear dark brown colour with mostly lasting frothy off-white head. The aroma is roasty, light vanilla. The flavour is moderate liquorice bitter, light sweet, with a somewhat light, smooth, earthy, light sweet vanilla, liquorice bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Can. Pours a clear light gold colour with a thin white head, light hop aroma with hints of citrus, the taste is medium bitterness with a dry bitter finish.

440ml can from Burford Garden Company. Pours a hazy light orange with a white head. Aromas & tastes of zesty citrus, pine & hops. Moderate body. Moderate bitter finish.

Half-pint, draught at Off The Square. Shared with Frau Eva. Coal black body, stable beige head, hanging lace. Inviting on the nose with smoothly roasted malts, mid-sweet. Dark malt-forward flavours added by hints of dried fruits. Roasted ending notes, rather sweet. Medium bodied. Nice. (Stow-on-Wold, Cotswold 26.04.2025).

Can from Vine and Bine, Solihull at 4.8%. Pours a light hazy dark gold with moderate sized white foamy top. Aroma of orange, peach, passionfruit and pine. Taste of orange, passionfruit, slightly early pine and pale malt. Near medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi-drying mouthfeel. Good, tasty solid SIPA.
