330ml bottle from Ales by Mail. Gusher. Another highly carbonated brew from these guys. Think bottle conditioning is going on a but more than planned. Managed to pour about half of it into a scooter, clear pale gold with three inches of slowly growing white head. When it settled down in to a drinkable state it was remarkably similar to their Gorgon’s alive. Light woody, yeast esters, light lemon.

330ml bottle from Ales by Mail. Pours hazy golden with a thick white head. High carbonation. Aromas of light wood, faint citrus. Taste is light sweet, prickly carbonation though again.

330ml bottle from Ales by Mail. Pours hazy amber with a massive white head. High carbonation. Aromas are woody, yeast esters, grassy hops. Taste is more of the same, faint lemon. Spoilt a bit by the prickly carbonation.

330ml bottle from Ales by Mail. Gusher. Pours hazy gold with a few floaters. Aromas of light corn, faint fruit. Taste is not much to write home about. Light lemon maybe. Faint malt. Yep, it’s a premium lager.

Cask (gravity) @ NWAF 2015, National Winter Ales Festival (2015), The Roundhouse, Pride Park, Derby, Derbyshire, England, DE24 8JE. [ As Clarkshaws Strange Brew #1 ].Clear medium orange color with a small to average, frothy and open, good to fair lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity, caramel, earthy malt - earthy fruit notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, fruity, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20150211]

Cask@Earl Ferrers, Streatham, London (27/08/2016) - - amber pour with white head. Toasty malty aroma and taste, some caramel toffee sweetness coming in, slight grassy, twiggy and herbal hoppy, not great.

Cask@Earl Ferrers, Streatham, London (27/08/2016) - pours gold with a white covering. Very sweet fruity and malty offering, biscuits, has some caramel and toffee sweetness, cereal, straw, pretty overt sweet overall.

Bottle shared at Earl Ferrers, Streatham, London (27/08/2016) - golden yellow pour with white head. Light malty and citrus fruity aroma and taste, crisp, lemony notes with a grassy hoppy backing, slight floral edge, light grain, bitter hoppy finish.

Bottled@PBF XI. Yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some honey and mild earthy notes. Flavour is wood, some herbs, grassy and earthy notes. Quite watery palate.
