27/11/2019. Can from Beermoth, Manchester. Pours hazy pale golden orange with a large frothy white head. Aroma on pouring was lovely, hoppy, citrusy, fruity, but in the glass it was quite different, decidedly soapy/washing up liquid overpowering a fruity, resinous backdrop. Light to moderate sweetness, medium bitterness, light tartness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, average carbonation. Bitter fruit, slightly tart finish.

20/11/2019. Draught at Brew Club, Hackney. My Merseyside beer #100. Served very cold. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, toffee, chocolate, dark fruits, berries and oats. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness, touch of tartness. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Quite drinkable.

Cask at the Crown and Kettle, Manchester, 03/10/19. Light haze on a golden blonde pour with a decent off white cap. Nose is grass, weed, pine needle, orange pith. Taste comprises ripe melon, dank notes, orange peel, grapefruit zest, toasted malts. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close laced with grassy to lightly dankened hop bitterness. Solid cask pale.

Cask at the crown and kettle Manchester. A hazed dirty golden orange coloured pour with a creamy white head. Aroma is subdued, meaty grains, soft orange. Flavour is composed of earthy grains, light grass, sileage. Palate is soft, wheat, earthy. Condition is pretty good.

Ma Kelly's. Keg. Very hazy apricot - orange colour beer, small cream colour head. Airy palate, fairly dry, decent fine carbonation. Soft dry pale malts, mildly sweet. Piney hop. Dusty citric hop, mostly orange, some orange peel tang. Suggestion of something tropical. A bit staid, dry and dusty but not hating this.

Cask at the Flying Horse Hotel, Rochdale. Black with a creamy-frothy off-white head. Mildly dirty tasting with a mix of dark malts and fruity hops, along with a strength means this has an acquired taste. I initially thought I wouldn't finish this but got through it. Has a slight coffee aroma.

Keg in Ben Nevis bar, Glasgow. Hazy, very dark brown with a lovely tan head. Smoky aroma, flavour is roasted malt, some fruit and bitter coffee
