Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers GB! Aroma of raspberry, pink grapefruit, and herbs. Taste is sour raspberries and very grainy. Full on taste. Very good.

Draft into bottle from lowcosbeer.com. Hazy yellow-gold with thin white head. Pale malt aroma, a bit creamy with a certain tropical and citrus hoppiness. Taste is toasted malt, light pine, passionfruit, zingy carbonation. OK.

Cask at two trees watford. A clear golden orange coloured pour with a lasting loose white head. Aroma is spicy hop, nettle, earthy grains, light citrus orange. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, thin earthy bready grains, grassy hop, light chalk, thin, hedgerow hop, little vague, wishy washy. Palate is light crisp, mellow cask condition.

440ml can BBE 3 weeks ago. Murky amber-brown with off-white creamy head, great retention; looks interesting. Aroma of sweet rye malts (although I cant see rye as an ingredient), caramel, citrus, stone fruits. The aroma reminds me of a Rye IPA from Fownes Brewery but I must be barking up the wrong tree. Taste is malty grains, sugars, stone fruit combo, yeast, citrus, dry bitterness in the finish with a touch of pine. Medium bodied, light stickiness on palate. Its ok.

Cask @ Fell Northern Quarter, Manchester. Not quite black but getting there, with a small off-white head. Texture-wise it comes across a little thin, but a fair blast of honeycomb rescues proceedings to an extent. It's a more rich than sweet stout for it. Honeycomb in aroma too.

Third of a pint at the 32nd Shrewsbury Beer Festival on 26th September 2024. Clear golden amber body, soft white head. Floral aroma and initial taste, mild citrus fruit leanings, OK but lacked 'oomph' considering it's 5.8% ABV.

Cask at Fuggles in Tunbridge Wells. Good pour and lacing. A real richness of flavour and mouthfeel as you would expect with this abv. Well made, but maybe lacking in a bit of flavour. One more and I need to move on from here as I need food. I have left the choice with my brother. This might go wrong
