Description
In 2010, Rob decided to take his passion for cider making to the next level and became a craft cider producer. Over 9 years the company has expanded and now provides a variety of ciders across the Country but has not lost its original heritage or authenticity. The company, based in the quintessential village of Hallaton, Leicestershire produces a range of ciders using apples from orchards in Gloucestershire, Hertfordshire and from the farm itself.

31/8/2018. From bag in box at the Dove Summer Beer Festival, Ipswich. Pours clear golden colour with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of lime, apples and cranberry. Medium plus sweetness, very light tartness. Moderate body, oily texture, quite flat carbonation. Sweet finish. Fair.

Bag in box at sraf. Pours hazy golden, nose is pineapple, peach, apple, taste is tart, juicy apple and tropical fruit.

Handpull at the Old Horse, Leicester. Light golden and clear with a foamy bit of white head. Vinous scent with orchard fruits and a touch of champagne vinegar. Tastes far too sweet - that wonderful cider tang is missing - and there's a saccharine note to the finish. Not keen on this but it'll do.

From box at The Exchange, Leicester, 22.05.18. Translucent hay colour. No head. Fine aroma and inviting aroma of apple zest, wild apples and leather. Taste of wild apples, green apples and sweet yellow apples. Some bitterness and a hint of artificial sweetener in aftertaste. Uncarbonated.

From box at The Exchange, Leicester, 22,05.18. Very pale, clear yellow. No head. Aroma of apples and yeast. Taste of sweet yellow apples, green apples and yeast. Uncarbonated. Mouthfeel and aftertaste of artificial sweetener.

BIAB at Ale & Arty, Stockton. Straw golden colour, bubbly white head and mellow apple aroma with sulphur hint. Taste is fruity, juicy apple, mellow, musty with some sharpness and drying tannins. Medium bodied, low to medium carbonation, semi-dry tannic finish. Quite drinkable.

Cask (handpump) @ Kings Arms, 22 Hall Road, Norwich, Norfolk, England NR1 3HQ. [ As Bottle Kicking Rambler (Light Medium) ].ABV: 6.0%. Clear medium yellow colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate apple, sweet apples, fruity apples. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, sugary apples, apple, fruity apples. Box @ Leeds Station Wetherspoon, Leeds. Clear pale golden coloured ale. Has a dryish, light apple aroma and flavour, offering up a mild fizziness in the palate.
