Dusty, glue-like flavor with just a bit of hops. Fairly dry, but watery. Better as many low alcohol beers, because it lacks any wort flavors..

Slightly acidic, grainy aroma with apple. Sweetish flavor, again with apple. Typical Begian pilsener at its worst.

Caramelaroma with a hint of cherry. Caramel flavor with just a touch of tartness and chichory bitterness. Lacks the real Oudenaards bruin character.

Bottle, De Gouden Leeuw, St Lievens Esse. Somewhat yeasty flavor with chocolate, caramel and a hint of tartness. Fairly alcoholic. Served very cold, so the aroma was not very pronounced. Powerful dark ale.

Bottle, few months past best before date. Dark brown color. Vague bready aroma. Watery. Sweet caramelly flavor. Not much going on, but sure does the job after a thirsty day.

Bottle. Dark brown color. Caramel, dried fruit and a hint of oak and whaiky in the flavor. Malty sweet, alcoholic flavor with dried fruit. I canβt taste much of the promised whisky barrel aging. Probably needs a longer time in the barrel.

Medium, fine & dense, slightly irregular head over hasy orange beer, finely carbonated and shards of lace. Weyish pale malts nose, white candi sugar; spicy, even peppery. Pale & lightly coloured malts, some caramel, toast, faint citruspeel. Medium bodied, quite slick. Good carbonation. Better than the Memento. Still, Roman predictable, anything but exciting.
