On tap at a local French bistro in Bar Harbor. Surprisingly tall, tulip pour. Earthy, vinous, a little green pepper nose. Purple brown, not quite opaque, chunky, blueberry tea pour. Twangy sidra, heavy blueberry juice, lemon, mignonette, heavy. Fizzy middle, sour finish. Concentrated. Too vinegary, would've been amazing otherwise.

Tap @ Smiðjan, Vik i Myrdal. Hazy yellow without head. Aroma is sweet apples, green apples and fruity. Flavor is medium sweet. Dry finish. Not bad, but I prefer my ciders sweeter. 110723

355ml can @ Portland Lobster Company, Portland whilst enjoying an expensive lobster roll. Deep hazed purple appearance. Rich ribena vibes here.. expected more natural wild elements but it's nicely fruity overall.

Can, best before 6/21/22, drunk 8/27/22. Hazy apricot-peach. Good malo-lactic character, slightly spicy, seemingly very dry as promised. Touch of vanilla-like character with fleshy apple and no alcohol or flaw. Frizzante. Soft and juicy but very dry; though not too much so. Good tannin structure and even, well-aged malo-lactic tartness with mild acidity. Lingering spice, apple flesh and light Brett.

This was reason for visit get me some gruits. This is sipping a Forest no other way to put it. If a wizard bottles a spruce Forest here it is. Leaves mouth feeling clean. Not sure drinking huge quantities of this would work.

At the brewery in shade if free that have some respite from oppressive heat. Floral and honey on nose. Hops add bit of liveliness. Fairly light colored. Wild honey is pleasant.
