Description
Jaw Brew is the Premium Quality, Award winning, Craft Beer Pub & Brewery based in Milngavie, Glasgow. Producing superb beers that are brewed by hand in small batches.
At the brewery we normally produce batches of our beers in quantities of 800 litres, although we are also very happy to produce an individual brew for interested customers, which we can make on a smaller scale on our ’test’ kit to produce 200 litres of beer which we can provide in cask, keg, bottle or bag-in-box.

On cask @ SRAF. Golden and hazy. Mostly floral and bread notes on the nose. More bread on the taste. Some citrus. Good for the ABV, I thought, and I was sceptical beforehand.

8th July 2017: cask pint in ’Diggers’ Edinburgh. Didn’t notice the ABV until I had ordered it, to be fair it didn’t taste like only 2.2% ABV once I got the beer in my hand. Golden body, white head. Bready aroma and taste, light citrus notes seep through the brew which tainted the aroma and taste for me (bored with citrusy golden beers). Scored objectively.

330ml can. Clear golden beer with a small white head. Yeasty aroma, flavour is yeasty, fruity, maybe some apple in there, definitely slightly sour. Not what I expected - makes me think of Belgium - but I like it

500ml bottle poured into tulip glass. Inky black with a big, fizzy tan head. Coffee, roasted malt, leather aroma. Flavour is similar with some dried fruit thrown in for good measure. Bit thin, maybe, but most pleasant

On cask at Cloisters. Appearance - opaque black with a lovely fawn head. Nose - toffee, chocolate and honeycomb. Taste - more Crunchie Bar. A touch of molasses. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a dry crunchy finish. Overall - easily best I’ve had from these guys.
