Description
The New Old Lompoc opened on May 6th, 2000. But the Old Lompoc Brewery (as it was formerly know) has been producing handcrafted ales and lagers since December 1996, while the tavern has been open since 1993.
The name originally came from the movie ‘The Bank Dick’ starring W.C. Fields and Mae West. Most of the movie took place in the ‘Old Lompoc House’, which was the local watering hole as well as a boarding house.
Our food menu is an excellent array of Northwest pub fare with a great selection of entrees, soups and salads. We have also remodeled the patio and added a sun deck.

Draft at Fifth Quadrant. Golden color (no, really). Aroma of straw and malt. Taste is not too bitter. Plain.

Draft at Fifth Quadrant. Cloudy golden color, solid white head, solid curtain of lacing. Aroma of barnyard and sweat. Taste is softly sour grapefruit and lemon. My favorite at the pub that day.

Draft at Fifth Quadrant. A pretty middle-of-the-road lager-like bitter. Easy to drink.

Massive chocolate and malt aroma. Beautiful. Pours a hazy brown with garnet all around. Khaki head slowly ebbs. Medium-thin mouthfeel up front leads to a full more-rounded finish. Slight cola but otherwise a nice toffee, roasted and smooted taste. Chocolate blends with some coffee.

This is a beer I rave about. Black with medium beige head. Full aroma of chocolate and malt. Full bodied. Cocoa, coffee and just a tinge of hop. Not super strong, but with enough muscle.

3 oz. sample on tap at Brouwer's Caf for Hard Liver, pours murky reddish brown. Aroma of dried fruits (prune, figs). The dried fruits jump out with green apples and a bitter hoppy , dry finish.
