Description
At Kinnegar we pair brewing tradition with a contemporary sense of adventure to produce clean, crisp, full-flavoured farmhouse beers. The brewery is named after the nearby Kinnegar Beach
just north of Rathmullan in County Donegal.

Our roots are deeply embedded in the hilly fields and farms of northeast Donegal. This is the perfect environment for the way we make beer. We don’t filter or pasteurise, and we let our industrious little friends, the yeast, carbonate the beer naturally during fermentation.

With the opening of K2, our new state-of-the-art facility in nearby Letterkenny in March 2017, the clinking of bottles coming off our line no longer mingles with the bleating of sheep from the surrounding fields. The farmhouse ethos at the core of what we do however remains the same.

Panda from Colin, yo. Hazy-opaque amber-orange. Thin frothy foamy white head. Aroma has burnt citrus with some sweet juice. Biitter resin and citrus with a sugary and spicy marmalade element. Some booze. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. I like an IPA like this.

Moderately hazed golden orange topped with a lasting just off white head.

Taste comprises bitter orange, grass, grapefruit, pine needle, melon.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with light juicy hop bitterness with a mellow boost on offer.
Tidy easy drinking and well rounded DIPA.

Clear orange with a white head. Citrus bursts forth rom the glass. Tropical fruits and some dank pine join in the fun. There is a toasted pale malt backbone giving it strength but not overbearing. Finish is juicy and lightly bitter. A very solid drinker.

Amber with a tan head. Toasted malts, hoppy citrus, fruity, light chocolate, and just a hint of roasted malt in the back. Medium bodied. Finish has a bright fruit note over the rich roasted malt and chocolate sweetness. Very solid.

For me, this can was really interesting, perfect and refreshing sour beer even if the weather was cold and rainy. This one is fruity and aromatic, predominant side of ginger, dry, herbal due to the rhubarb, dry malt, hop, 07.06.20, at Epalinges.

Tight off white head left a large creamy top on a dull dark amber coloured body.
Malt, caramel & toffee aroma.
Medium bodied, smooth & creamy with lightly carbonated cloying back.
Pine, orange, resinous & grapefruit tastes with a malt undercurrent & long tangy peppered finish.
That's a tasty drop.
