Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is roasted malt, balanced peat, whiskey, chocolate, coffee, some smoke and a little liquorice. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet and mildly bitter. Body is a little above medium, could have used some more carbonation. Better than the Bowmore BA, this one has more complexity with less liquorice and more choc/coffee. Good one.

From tap at Stadsbrouwerij Eindhoven. Aroma is roasty with fruity hops, chocolate, citrus, tropical notes, coffee, a touch of liquorice. Flavour is mildly sweet and medium bitter. Body is medium. Relatively mildly flavoured BIPA, nice balance between roast and hops. Good one!

From tap at Stadsbrouwerij Eindhoven. Mild fruity aroma with malt, citrus, yeast. Flavour is sweetish and mild to medium bitter. Body is medium. Okay beer, not really an IPA though, more of a Belgian IPA with a slightly pronounced hop profile. Lacks impressive characteristics, it’s all so mild.

From tap at Stadsbrouwerij Eindhoven. Aroma is rather malt-forward for an IPA with caramel, biscuit, and very soft notes of fruits and hops. Flavour is almost medium sweet and rather bitter. Slightly sticky. Body is medium. Okay, but neither fruity nor hoppy.

Bottle from Stadsbrouwerij Eindhoven. Big fruity citrus aroma with orange zest, mandarin, touch of lemon, citrus peel, sinas, grapefruit. Flavour is light sweet and medium bitter. Body is medium. Nice citrus bomb, very likeable.

Bottle from Stadsbrouwerij Eindhoven. Aroma is strong coffee, espresso, roasted malt, mocha, some cocoa, with more coffee in the finish. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet and bitter. Body is medium. Pretty damn tasty with lots of coffee and personally I can never have enough coffee in my beer.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is sweet malt, smoke, syrupy notes, caramel, soy sauce. Flavour is quite syrupy sweet and light bitter. Body is medium with a bit too heavy carbonation and a sticky feel. Nicely smokey but too sweet and syrupy, not what I'd hoped for, with the sweetness becoming more and more annoying.

Bottle from Wijn & Whiskyhuis Nijverdal. Aroma is strong wood with notes of both tequila and sherry, red fruit, more oak, vanilla, and a hint of whisky. Flavour is sweetish and light bitter. Body is medium. Tasty blend of Strong Blond, tequila and sherry barrel.
