330ml bottle from Mitchells Wines, Meadowhead - Cloudy yellow body, thin top. Nose has a little peach, not too prominent though. Dry in the front of the taste, not sure I get the tea.

330ml bottle: BB Jun 2018. Poured into a Chimay chalice at home in the early hours of 4th Aug 2017. Beige/lightly tanned head, rusty amber body. Wasn’t expecting a sour beer, this is more like a Rodenbach Red than the usual Belgian Dubbel, still nice though. Semi-sour red berries in both the aroma and taste. Yeasty too.

330ml bottle: BB Dec 2017. Poured into a Leffe chalice at home on 3rd Aug 2017. i allowed the sediment to leave the bottle, so my terracotta hued orange body had a slight haze, on top a full white crown (for most of the drink). Spicy and fruity nose, the taste also following the same lines, some sweetness below the surface. Liked it.

Sampled @ 27th Egham Beer Festival 2017. A clear dark brown beer with a small off-white head. Aroma of mild roasted malt, dark malt, medium sweet chocolate, hints of dark red fruits. Taste of medium dry roasted malt, medium sweet chocolate, lactose, hints of plums, alright.

Cask @ Stafford Beer & Cider Festival. Small head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are green tea, fruits, flowers, malt and hops. Fruity finish.

Cask @ Stafford Beer & Cider Festival. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, yeasty and fruity. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 280717

Cask at The Rake. It pours golden - amber with a small white head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, tangy orange marmalade, candied peel, stewed fruits and toasty grain. The taste is pretty bitter, drying, tannin, harshness, orange rind, tartness, spicy marmalade and rawness with a very drying finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. A bit harsh really. So-so.
