Cask at The Globe Inn Dumfries. It pours hazy golden with a thick, foamy white head. The nose is sweet, soft, white bread, cereal and grass. The taste is bitter - sweet, fruity, white bread, grass, straw and grain with a sweet finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Far too sweet for my liking...

Bottle from the Sulwath Brewery Tap, Castle Douglas, consumed on site. Light gold, ever so slightly hazy. Light aroma of lemon and orchard fruits, with a slight medicinal note. Taste is sweet, honeyed and floral, leading to a bittersweet and slightly astringent finish.

Cask handpull at the Sulwath Brewery Tap. Dark brown with a creamy tan head. Coffee and liquorice dominate the nose. Sweet taste which turns to a malty Guinness-esque sourness. Solid and very tasty, an enjoyable beer.
