Draught @ Van Moll Brewpub. Hazy yellow color, medium sized white head that lasts for a decent while. Don’t get a lot of aroma, perhaps because the pub is filled to the max or maybe Lizzy was right and it smells like make up... (whaaat : ¿?). Anyway. Taste is hard to describe as well.. Some malts maybe, slightly grains, slightly hops. Don’t know really. Decent body, firm carbonation. Not bad but I’m not thrilled either.

Keg at the Beer Temple, Amsterdam, 25/09/14. Lightly hazed golden yellow with a moderate off white swirl. Nose is candied fruits, light hop presence, grassy notes, vanilla pod. Taste comprises caramel, vanila, mellow citric rinds. Medium bodied, a little on the thin side, semi drying close. Ok drinkable number but on the bland side.

On tap @ In De Wildeman. Pale blonde color, slightly hazy. White head, short retention. Aroma’s of grain/malt, some fruit, light perfume. Cucumber noticeable retronasal, but if I didn’t know it I probably wouldn’t have guessed it was cucumber. Flavor is light grainy/ malty sweet with a light bitterness. Light bodied. Finishes with a nice light bitterness. Clean and refreshing.

Draft at Arendsnest. Pours hazy golden with an off white head. Aroma of peppery saison yeast, light funk, citrus. Flavour is light moderate sweet and bitter. Light medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

BAF 14 . Pours unclear blonde , small white head . Smell is Brett , sharp , bit bitter . Taste is bitter , brett , perhaps a bit weak . Not bad though .

Sampled draft @ BAF 2014. Thank you! Clear, light yellow, creamy white peel. Nose is heavy bitter cucumber peel; Taste is cucumber peel more than the inside, light hop, lightly bitter, light malt. Clean & very easy to drink. There is no way that I could drink a lot of this but I am liking it :)

Sampled draft @ BAF 2014. Thank you! Light hazy golden, big creamy head. Lots of esters, bitter grass in the nose, bitter spices that I cannot identify. Taste is herbal, esters, grass, hay, same strange bitter spices in the back, bitter peel, not getting chili, malty. Creamy body. Good for the style but I am not really excited here & bit bland & the spices do not really work optimally I feel.

Sampled draft @ BAF 2014. Thank you! Hazy golden, creamy white head. Huge zest in the nose, light brett, fruity, hoppy. Lots of fruity hops, passion fruit, thick creamy taste, light brett. Very creamy body, very easy to drink, wonderful.

Sampled draft @ BAF 2014. Thank you! Hazy golden, very creamy head. Smell is very fruity, little zest. Very thick and creamy fruity hoppy, quite bitter, lots of peel, touch caramel. Creamy body; Nice brew, could be more it seems but this is very nice already as it is.

At BBF14 ( shared bottle ) and on BAF Pours light yellow , small white head . smell is bit herbal , not straight cucumber . Taste is a bit bitter , some cucumber , bit balanced . Light ( as always for a lager ) mouthfeel . Nice, interesting lager
