19/7/2018. Keg at Pleased To Meet You, Newcastle. Pours a hazy golden colour with a small lasting off-white head. Aroma of vanilla, citrus, yeast, berries, candy, strawberry & cream sweets and light herbal notes. Moderate sweetness, light bitterness, lightest tint of tartness. Moderate body, quite creamy texture, average carbonation. Enjoyable.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - dark brown, plummy edge to it. Thinish off white head. Nose - black banana and light nutmeg. Toffee. Taste - toffee, clove and banana. Palate - medium bodied creamy and nice taper and linger. Overall - personally, in think this is a good example of the style especially considering it's outside Bavaria.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - lively with a pure white head. Steady carbonation. Nose - honey and apple jelly. Taste - yeast dominant, more apple jelly. Palate - light bodied, sweet and yeast dominant. Overall - a bit lively, a bit apple jelly dominant and a bit too yeasty. Not sure this is what the brewer intended.
