Half-pint, cask ale by hand-pump, outside at Baum. A covering beige head to a clear amber coloured body. Dotted spots on the glass. Bread and toffee on the nose. Blended taste of bread, herbal hops, and toffee. Bittersweet endnotes. Smooth in the mouth. Decent bitter. (Rochdale 06.05.2018).

On tap at the Mad Squirrel, Chesham. A pinkish amber pour with a bright white head; weak aroma of fresh raspberries; light and refreshing with a sour raspberry taste and a grainy body; then a dry fruity finish. A pleasant summer drink, not as sour as some.

Keg at the Mad Squirrel, High Wycombe. A murky pink drink. Up front there's a really fresh, vibrant raspberry and raspberry leaf smell and flavour, with a mild mix of sour and sweet. However, this quickly fades and you realise that behind this pleasant edifice is a rather thin, watery beer with some dusty notes. Nevertheless it's a decent refresher and palette-cleanser, the sort of brew you'd welcome on a hot day, or at that point in a beer festival where you're starting to struggle with the heavier beers.

Keg @ Drink? Hebden Bridge. Golden with a small head. It's a very good taste and recognised styling of kolsch, although there's a slight bubble-gum sweetness that's a little too dominant.

Cask handpull at The Berry Walmer. Hazy copper pale brown colour thin white head. Odd herby orange marmalade flavour. Bit of currant fruit flavour on finish. OK but not my thing. Some sweetish malt.

Cask at Mad Squirrel, Amersham, Bucks. A hazy golden/amber coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, orange on the nose. Tastes similar, hoppy, citrus, slightly bitter. It isn't bad but served too warm, probably better on keg.
