Cask @ Flying Horse Hotel, Rochdale. Clear golden with a creamy head. Hoppy brew with a hint of dryness about it. Never gets flavoursome.

Cask at the Golden Lion, Todmorden. Dark brown with an off-white head. Nice and chocolatey on the nose, with black coffee developing in the taste. However, as you drink more it gets a little thin with liquorice emerging. Not as good as first impressions suggested, but still pretty drinkable.

Calderdale Beer Festival 2019, Halifax. Black with its strength dominant, making it a slow sipper. Thereโ€™s some wood cask influence but a higher alcohol value negates this to an extent.

Bradford Beer Festival 2020. Very dark with better roasted malts in its nose than taste, and watery in the latter. As an experiment the ale is not bad but not great at the same time.

Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Golden and quite smooth with a creamy head. It's hoppy, but not quite as dry hoppy in character as expected, it's actually a little bland in taste.
