Keg at the brewpub. Asked the barman for details who told me that it's a rye beer with the addition of honey and sage. Spicy aroma. With a sweet edge. Light chestnut. A film of white passes for a head. Sweet and sour. The rye and sage are more obvious. Along the lines of a spices up Chrimbo ESB. Light-mesium bodied. Thin but benefits from soft carbonation. Relatively abrupt aftertaste, more of a medicinal aftertaste. OK. That's it.

At the brewpub.Getting no aroma through a snotty nose. Bright gold. A slight haze to it. Fluffy white head. Surprisingly bitter. Herbs. Resin. Backlash. Thin bodied. Light. Very fizzy carbonation. Dry finish. If drunk quickly it's cold a refreshing. However if you concentrate in it then it misses the target. Messy. Not a great APA.
