Description
The Edinburgh Beer Factory is a family run, independent brewery launched in 2015 to make people think again about beer and Scotland. Founded by the Dunsmore family, we’ve grown to great big family of 20+ team members.
Like Edinburgh we’re creative, inventive and outward-looking. We combine old and new ideas and techniques to create beers of beauty.
Inspired by the Edinburgh-born ‘Father of Pop Art’ Eduardo Paolozzi, we showcase the art of brewing. Paolozzi took everyday objects and transformed them into works of art; we take overlooked and underestimated beer styles and present them at their beautiful best.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden orange with a slight haze. Nicely proportioned head. Nose - dried orange and a touch of hobnob. Taste - bitter orange and more biscuits. Palate - light to medium bodied with a dry tangy and bitter middle and finish. Overall - decent if a bit on the bitter side for my taste.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Strange - have definitely had this so surprised I hadn't already rated it. Appearance - golden and clear with a generous fluffy head. Nose - the lemon peel is evident and there's definitely something herbal. Taste - the herbal definitely dominates now with lemon pith in the background. Palate - light bodied, dry middle and finish. Overall - seem to have used the rosemary in the same way as bittering hops.

On tap at Hop Stuff Tap room Ashford. Dark dark brown colour lasting tan head. American brown ale aroma. I mean I do like this style. Like dark brown malt with a slap of lime up the bracket. Really hoppy on aroma and finish. Pretty good and right up my alley.
