Sample at Denver Rare Beer Tasting VI on 10/03/2014. Jet black pour with a medium tan head that diminishes steadily. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of roast malt, chocolate and coffee. Full-bodied with flavors of roasted malt, dark chocolate and coffee. The finish is roasty with a charred malt aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Hazy gold - amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth with good fine carbonation. Light and semi sweet malts. Hops are a nice combo of very light tangerine - orange and good hop spice, juicy. Little floralness before a light finish. Mild marmalade - bitter linger. Very good!
