Bottle purchased at Prost Beer and wine. Pitch black color with some lasting tan head. The aroma is very nice, dark Chocolate, coffee hints and deep roasted malts.

The body is not really full but it does have a very nice silky / velvet feel across the tongue. Nice mouthfeel. The flavor is exactly what is found in the aroma with the addition of a hint of anise. It still also has a hop or lingering coffee bitterness. All- in- all a very well crafted stout.

Ticked at night one of the rbwg2015 hotel lobby bottle share extravaganza. 22oz bomber (courtesy of jcwattsrugger, thanks John) pours with a dark mahogany colored body that supports a light tan head. The aroma offers up roasted malts, nuttiness, a bit of chocolate and caramel malts. The taste starts with roasted malts and nuttiness and then it heads into mild noble hops. The hops pick up with some bitterness just as the roasted malts get a tad astringent. Darn tasty Brown with great depth and balance.
