Can pour into nonic pint glass from Whole Foods, Lynnfield. Appearance is hazy pale greenish-yellow (like urine with high protein content), fair sparkle, ephemeral head and no lacing. Aroma is musty yeast and cracker malts competing with mild, mild esters (not that fruity). Light rye. Taste is similar to aroma--way too much yeast and pilsner cracker malts overcoming any wheat or fruity ester character. Maybe some light spiciness. Palate is medium bodied with thick, smooth texture, lively carbonation and dominant yeast/pilsner dry malt finish. Overall, this does a fair amount of what the brewer is going for but the additions kill the excitement of the Belgian Ale and detracts rather than adds to it.

Poured from can clear yellow with a white head. Aromas of grain malt citrus. Taste follows.

Poured from can dated 10/11/16 hazy orange with a nice white head. Aromas of slightly sweet caramel malt citrus grass and mild pine. Taste is kinda sweet notes of melon grass and a nice balanced hop finish. Packaged #4 - 9/19/16 - 10/14/16 Huell Melon, Triple Pearl hops.

Pours a nice light straw, leaning toward yellow. Smelled like lemon while in the bottle, but not picking up on any in the glass. Flavor is a nice Saaz profile with some fresh baked bread. Nicely dry and crisp. Good beer.

Can pour into tulip glass from Julio’s Liquors. Appearance is clear, deep reddish-brown with moderate sparkle, finger-width beige head with poor retention and attractive lacing. Aroma is strong toffee with vanilla. Taste is roasted malts, toffee, vanilla. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with average carbonation and mix of sweet caramel and bitter roasted finish. Overall, a tasty, straightforward brown ale.

I poured mine into a tulip.
The appearance was a hazy milky yellow color with a quickly dissipating finger’s worth of white foamy head. Mild rings of lace form around the glass.
The aroma starts off with thick sweet red onion. Super strong, in fact, so strong, it’s hard to even think it’s the hops. It’s almost as if they just dumped red onion in the beer. Luckily, I like red onion, but I can see people drinking this after me probably going to knock it. Light citrus and sweet grassiness enters in adequately.
The flavor displays a decent sweetness through the onion, not danky onion, just really tastes like it’s straight up onion. Sweet red onion aftertaste strutting it’s stuff right on into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a decently felt alcohol burn chopping on my tongue. I don’t mind for me, but, well, you know, just saying it’s there.
Overall, so, I’m not sure if the age did this to the beer. It’s quite interesting even if Mayflower intended for this to happen. I think I could have again, preferably fresh.

Pours a nice rich reddish brown from a can. Aroma of toffee and toast, flavor similar with very light chocolate notes. Good beer.
