This was poured into a weizen glass.
The appearance was an off white big foamy three finger head that must have waited for at least a good four minutes before gently dieing. Wow, that took forever (really tests one’s patience). Messy semi-thick lacing sticks for a bit and slides at a nice pace into the beer.
The smell has a nice sweet cocoa malt up front with more bready malts sliding in underneath.
The taste was mainly sweet through the combination of the bready and cocoa malt.
On the palate, there’s a smooth transition of the breadiness and the cocoa trying to dry out my tongue. Carbonation feels good.
Overall, as a dunkelweizen, well, where’s the banana esters? Hmmm...think I liked it for me, but don’t really see this as a dunkelweizen.

This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a semi-hazy yellow color with a one and a half finger white foamy head that dissipated at a decent pace leaving a rocky white cap of a head with semi-thick white foamy lacing, nice show!
The smell started off with sweet grassy hops sliding into sweet citrus rind and a dry floral quality.
The taste was semi-bitter and dry with the sweetness from the grassiness boosting the citrus and floral qualities to become pretty dry on my tastebuds.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation runs fairly light with the dryness coming back and pouncing on my tongue adequately.
Overall, only as I get to the end, I see the date stamped in green on the neck \"packaged 08/04/2015,\" but you know for an APA that came out then, this wasn’t bad at all. I could see myself coming back to this during Summer (when fresher).

Draft at The Grill Next Door, Haverhill MA. Cloudy gold with a orange hue. Aroma is very nice, floral hops with a good amount of grapefruit and tropical fruit tones.

The malt bill is just enough to balance the bolder amount of hops. Juicy tropical fruit in the center with a nice lasting floral notes toward the finish. Grapefruit and citrus also has a huge showing. WOW, the juicy texture and floral bitterness works really nicely in this brew. Very limited in production at 20 barrels. Find it on draft before it is gone forever. This brewery should consider making this a yearly offering. VERY tasty!

Bottle pour at Powder Keg Beer & Chili Festival. Aroma is fruity with sweet maltiness. Appearance is opaque black with ring of light brown head, mild lacing. Taste is medium sweet with fruit and liquor, like a syrup. Palate is medium bodied with slick texture and soft carbonation. Overall, this was good and if you like your imperial stout like a sweet syrup then this will fit the bill nicely. Some carbonation to break this up would be nice.

Keg pour at Powder Keg Beer & Chili Festival. Aroma is fairly weak but a little bit citrusy. Appearance is yellowish-green, hazy, light foamy head, mild lacing, no sparkle. Taste is mildly sour and citrusy but dominant bitter, more bitter than I want from a pale ale--this is more IPA. Palate is light-to-medium body with average texture and average carbonation. Overall, I didn’t enjoy this. Nothing really stood out and it was fairly average, at best. Would go elsewhere for a pale ale.

Pours deep brown into a snifter. Mocha head with good retention recedes laving trailing sheets. Licorice, soy and chocolate syrup aromas. Sharp with sweet and sour licorice and dark chocolate upfront turning to soy and charred espresso before the hot caramel finish.
