Description
Walhalla is an Amsterdam based micro brewery that brews the gods’ favorite ales. Bold and magical beers, thirst-quenching and pure.

Spijkerkade location closed end of 2024. New brewery location at Asterweg opened in 2025.

0,33l bottle at home bought at Bier Navi. Bottled 9 months prior to BB date which is 1/2/2017. golden clear color, small white head. smells of exotic fruits, mango, light flowery, some herbs, hints of pines, light grapefruit. nice smell. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes lightly sweet, some pines, herbs, light grapefruit zest, lightly soapy. finishes almost balanced with hints of bitterness and light herbs and grapefruit notes. nice one overall, but finishes is quite short, overall i liked the smell almost a bit better than the taste, but overall good one.

Sampled from draft at Kimchi Festival 2016 (second day). Hazy golden with thin white head. Lemon, coriander and cloves, sweet malts. Medium sweet with equal lemony zest. Under medium body, light chalky feel.

Sampled from draft at Kimchi Festival 2016 (second day). Near clear golden with white head. Sweet malts, herbal marijuana hoppy, nice. Light sweet and a tad more bitter. Medium body, chalky soft feel, soft carbonation. Very nice dryhop.

Draft at Kimchi Festival 2016 (second day). Slightly hazy amber with white head. Sweet malts, big floral notes, honey, apples, flower petal parfume. Light sweet and bitter. Bitterness overpowering sweetness. Medium body, soft carbonation.
