Bottle from Biernavigatie, BB 3 2017, large sample. Hazy copper color, medium firm rocky head. Aroma of toasted malts, bit flowery, toffee, biscuit, earthy. Malty sweetness in taste, toast, slight spicy, soft bitterness, slight alcohol. Not very outspoken. Ok beer.

Thick cream head over fully dull dark reddish brown beer. Sweet chocolate, dry cacao powder, dark green leaves & wood. Bitter, woody, black chocolate in the taste; again cacao powder. Bittering hops, dry. Rather well-bodied, quite slick, good carbonation. Aftertaste is even more dry, resiny, hops cropping up. Good on most point, but nowhere exceptional.

On tap at Kent Beer Festival 2016. Hazy amber colour lasting cream head. Some saison yeast and funk on the aroma. Spicy hop. Touch of earthy sourness in the mouth. Some caramel sweetness then a spicy hop finish. A bit too muddy earthy for me.

Dark blond with light haze. Aroma and flavour have some wet wood and bready yeast. Quite gassy. The more I drink it the less I like it.

Bottle @ Van Moll Brewpub. Slightly unclear somewhat orange color, average sized white to off-white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, nicely hoppy, a bit floral and a bit citrussy, lightly bitter. Decent body and carbonation. Not bad at all.
