Can from solidfunk while watching a little Taboo. Deep orange pour fine head. Nose is grapefruit and sweet sugary candy. Tastes of grapefruit, papaya, mango, rock candy, lemon. Sweet sugary finish.

On draft at Spacebar in Falls Church. Pours A clear copper with an off white head. Fruity nose. Flavors of pine resin and mandarin orange. Moderately bitter finish.

Draft at brewery. Poured a very dark cola color with a small lightly off-white head. Aroma was lots or roasted malts, chocolate, bakers chocolate - really nice and creamy roasted malt notes. Flavor was similar - nice light sweetness in there, mild bitterness. Rich and roasted. Creamy, chocolate. Really tasty.

Draft at the brewery. Poured a clear yellow-orange color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was light zest bitterness. Lots of hoppy petal notes. Chewy hops. Okay.

Draft at the brewery. Poured a clear ruby-amber color with a small white head. Aroma was light grain, earthy and floral hoppy notes. Flavor was about the same. Perhaps just a bit of a light leafy bitter grain character that just makes the whole thing just fine.

Sample at GABF 10/08/2016, thanks to my sis for assistance with note-taking. Clear amber color with a medium off-white head that recede steadily to a film. Strings of lace. Malt, fruit and caramel aroma. Full-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, ripe fruit and slight earthy hops. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

Growler pours a translucent black with some cloudy, off white head. Nose is very nice, malt, toast, grain, baker’s chocolate, light dried fruit. Flavor has hints of coffee and finally the promised berry, chocolate, toast, molasses. Dry finish. Very well done, very drinkable.

Growler, clear orange, soapy white head. Nose is vegetal, grass, orange, honey, some odd black pepper. Flavor is grass, heavy parsley, green bell pepper, malt, some lemon, a little scape. Finishes a touch hot actually.

Draft at Open City. Pours an unclear orange with an off white head and fairly strong, sticky lacing. Yeast, grains, and some peppery notes. Hay and funk. Some herbal notes. Tingly feel, funky and dry close. Seems like a combination that should work better it does. Overall/taste are not as good as the sum of the parts would suggest.

4 oz pour on draft at Spacebar. Black with tan head. Aromas of roast, dark chocolate. Tastes of roast, caramel, dark chocolate. Medium body with a dry finish. Pretty tasty.
