Can pour from the brewery. Lightly hazy amber-red with nice sparkle, thin head with poor retention and trace lacing. Aroma is caramel, earthy roasted nuts and grain. Taste follows aroma. Smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste with mild lingering bitterness. The kilned malts make this a pretty interesting Irish Red!

16 oz can in a trade with tfontana. Thank you Tom! Aroma shows soft toffee like malt and mild pine. The flavor shows the bread and toffee like malt with pine and mild herb. No resin. For a West Coast IPA it drinks really well.

Cask at GBBF 2023 - Day 1. Pours clear gold with a bubbly white head. Light sweet flavour with some white grape, melon gummies, lemon rind. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Decent balance to finish. More citrus rind. Not bad.

1st August 2023
GBBF Day 1. Cask. A light haze on this paleish gold beer, small bubbly white head. Light palate, mildly dry, modest fine carbonation. Thin malts. Floral sweetish hops, some candyish modern Mosaic it seems like, more than Simcoe. Light finish. Alright.

Pours a brown from a tap. Rather light toffee aroma and flavor, a little bit oversweet. Gotta be honest was hoping for better. Still good though.

Pours a hazy yellow from a tap. Biiiiig lemon aroma and flavor, almost fake lemon, like pez. Luckily they chose correctly and went with a nice bitter finish, this is pleasantly dry and not very sweet. Pretty good beer.

2nd August 2022
GBBF Day 1. Cask. Hazy gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Smooth and fairly dry pale, decent fine carbonation. Thin pale malts, a good creamy sweetness. Smooth pine into sweet but slightly tangy ripe citrus. A fairly dry finish. Fine, nothing to get excited about.
