(Keg at SOPP Helsinki 2016) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts and liquorice. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, sweetness, dark chocolate, liquorice, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt and bitter. A nicely done strong stout.

Draught @ SOPP 2016. Pours pitch black with a smooth head. Aroma of roasty malts, salty licorice, coffee, cocoa, vanilla and syrup. Taste is sweetish, roasty and heavy with loads of salty licorice, coffee, dark chocolate and cocoa. Finish is salty, roasty and sweetish with loads of licorice and hints of syrup. Reminds me of Nøgnes imperial stout. Tasty.

Nydelig aroma og smak (fra Mosaic-humlen som er benyttet) - tropiske frukter som mango og ananas, citronskall og antydning til granskudd. Myk og fin bitterhet i den lange avslutningen. Deres bestselger iflg den hyggelige bryggeren, og det kan jeg godt forså - dette var den beste av de tre gode fra Bådin jeg prøvde denne julikvelden.

Nice light brown creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly rich and dry, dark malts, licorice, grass, minerals, alcohol, weeds, dark sugar, bark, burnt coffee, hints of soap. Taste is slightly dry and harsh mineraly, weeds, minerals, licorice, dark malts, grass, alcohol, soap, burnt grain, sour coffee, paper, metal tank, bark, burnt caramel. Medium bitterness, slightly dry and harsh mineraly mouthfeel. Nice aroma, not so nice flavors...

Small bubbly shortlasting head, dirty hazy amber color. Aroma is slightly sweet floral, wet grass, wet grain, minerals, hay, flowers, weeds, soil, paper, bark, wet wash cloth, cellar, vegetables. Taste is slightly dry floral, weeds, dried grain, hay, minerals, leafs, soil, paper, bark, flowers, wet wash cloth, sap. Medium bitterness, slightly dry and harsh watery mouthfeel. Boring.

Patricks 310316. Amber colour with a beige head. Aroma is caramel, pine, grapefruit. Flavour is caramel, pine, grapefruit, chocoalte, bread, citrus. OK/Nice beer.

0.33l bottle. No batch number. In the glass this is a deep and dark brown colored one, on the top there's a medium sized somewhat lasting and mildly lacing dark beige head. The nose gives me nice tones of cold coffee soft licorice, nuts, darker malts and leather. A little saltiness also detected. I really have to say that it smells quite good actually. Tastes pretty darn good this! It's well roasted with again lots and lots of cold dark coffeehouse. It has leather and dark types of malts in the taste also. In the mouth it's nice and oily and it's just above average on the bubbles. Perhaps a tad too much but not disturbing. It has a mild tannin dryness, mild earth nutty in the finish and I get a good hoppy bite in he aftertaste. A fair amount of flavor in this one. Didn't mind it at all. 29.08.2015
