Slightly smoked malt-fruity aromas. Carefully smoked malty flavours followed by lightly smoked grainy end. Medium bodied. Just okay (Tromsø,18.09.2025).

330ml can, #858, bought at Storo Ølutsalg. Shared during a rating session with Finn. Close-to-clear copper coloured body, stable beige head, spotty lacing. Brown malts and dusty hops on the nose, promising. Similar taste of dusty hops and mid-sweet caramel malts. Bittersweet tail. Just okay. (Tromsø,18.09.2025).

Shared 330 ml can at Mandag i Annen, Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 14.0%. Nearly black colour, tan head. Aroma and flavour of roast malts, chocolate, coffee, vanilla and oak, hints of whisky.

Smooth, easy drinkable and tasty.

Bready, mild roast, herbal and mild fruity.

0,33 boks på Mi2 Cardinal, og en perfekt avslutning på en særdeles hyggelig kveld hvor Luis presenterte et variert og spennende utvalg fra sitt emporium. Nesten helt svart med kort skum. Mørke malter, eik/vanilje, bjørnebær, bourbon og mørke karamellchokolader. Snop de luxe.

Small white head over unclear orange beer. Nice aromatic C-hops with a touch of musk/velvet. Orangepeel. Grains, bit dusty, dried nuts, chestnut flour. Very restrained bitterness; straw. Medium bodied at least, very well-carbonated; bit slick, mainly due to hopoils. Quite decent, if nowhere spectacular - unless you imagine getting IPA from the artic circle.

Klokka har passert 18 på Verftet, og vi har vært her siden 13:30, så nå er det bare snakk om tilstandsrapporter, heldigvis uten avvik, og i godt selskap med Haakegutt, Bryne, BBF&Karen: klar gylden med fint skum som varer. En tørr (og samtidig fruktig!) WCIPA med citrus, lyng og urter. God maltkropp. Blinkskudd fra gutan.
