Keg draught at the Job Centre, Deptford. Mid-gold and hazy with a film of white head. White grape, berries and some soft citrus in the juicy aroma. Sweet taste with Mosaic berry-ness shining through, and light hoppy bitterness enveloping the finish. All in all a gorgeous sessionable pale.

Keg draught at the brewery tap. Mid-gold, clear with a lot of visible carbonation and a good-sized off-white head. Not a lot of aroma on this one, but touches of pine, caramel and marmalade. Bitter taste with lots more marmalade filling the mouth. The bitterness is tempered somewhat in the finish making a nice balanced beer. Massive carbonation. Good.

Keg draught at the brewery tap. Light, light milky yellow and hazy with a small layer of white head. Melon aroma, some buttery notes, fresh grass. Sweet taste, melon and mango to the fore with a touch of lemon meringue. There's a little bit of a plastic note but not enough to destroy the enjoyment of the beer. Smooth body, medium carbonation. A good beer if not a great one.

On tap at The Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Blood orange pour with a white head. Nose is apricot jam, toffee,zesty orange. Taste is the same as above with a nutty bitter bite in the close. Nice.

Fra fat på Villages Taproom, med Egil: uklar gylden med fint skum som varer. Superfrisk og fruktig med tonnevis av søte citrusfrukter og ditto tropiske. Mild bitterhet og saftig avslutning med granskudd og rød grapefrukt. Nydelig munnfølelse og påtagelig mersmak.

Første besøk på Dog & Bell, med Egil: nesten helt klar gylden med fint skum som varer. Citrus, urter og litt granskog. Fin bitterhet og laang, frisk ettersmak hvor mersmaken henger igjen til slutt. Mer som en pale ale enn esb, synes jeg.

From tap at Villages in Deptford with Holmen1 07.08.22. Cloudy pale straw colour. Dense and persistent white head. Superb aroma and taste of pale malt, lemon, grapefruit, passiob fruit and pineapple. Red grapefruit and 7-UP in aftertaste.
